Create a Meta post (Facebook / Instagram)

Meta posts (Facebook + Instagram) are the most common epic type in Glowtify. The editor adapts its fields, preview, and limits to each Meta surface. For other social channels, see Create a LinkedIn Page post, Create a LinkedIn Profile post, or Create a TikTok post.

See Create a campaign for the generic layout, brief, tasks, and chat flow common to every content type.

What's unique to social posts

  • Caption editor with character counter for the target platform
  • Hashtag suggestions based on your Business DNA and the post's topic
  • Media picker with format-specific sizing (square, portrait, story, landscape)
  • Mention / tag fields when the platform supports them
  • Link preview with the first URL automatically promoted
  • Platform preview β€” your post rendered as it will look in-feed

Platform-specific editors

Meta (Facebook + Instagram)

  • You pick which Meta surface to publish on: Facebook page, Instagram account, or both
  • If you pick both, you can override per platform β€” different caption for Facebook than Instagram
  • Product tagging (Instagram Shopping) when available on your account
  • First-comment placement option to move long hashtag lists out of the main caption

LinkedIn

LinkedIn posts have their own article β€” see Create a LinkedIn Page post (for company pages) or Create a LinkedIn Profile post (for personal profiles).

TikTok

TikTok has its own article β€” see Create a TikTok post. It's video-only and the editor is calibrated on that constraint.

Previewing

The preview panel switches to match the platform. If you're publishing to multiple platforms, the preview tabs let you check each rendering.

Publishing

All social posts use soft scheduling β€” Glowtify stores the post and publishes it at the scheduled time via the platform API. See Smart Scheduling for the full details.

If something fails at publish time, see Publication errors.

Promoting this post as an ad (Boost)

Facebook and Instagram feed posts can be promoted as paid ads directly from the same epic β€” no need to recreate the creative in Ads Manager. A Boost this post banner shows up in the publish dialog, with a daily budget, audience preset, and 7-section configuration panel.

Boost is a lightweight option: same post, paid reach. For multi-variant ad campaigns with custom audiences, use Create an ad instead.

See Boost a Meta post for the full walkthrough β€” prerequisites, goals Γ— platforms matrix, statuses, KPIs, and errors.
