Onboarding overview
The onboarding wizard sets up your store the first time you sign up, and again each time you create a new store. It's the fastest way for Glowtify to learn your brand and get you to useful output quickly.
Takes 10–20 minutes. You can skip steps and come back later — progress is saved automatically.
The six steps
The wizard walks you through six stages, each a quick decision:
- Brand DNA — who your brand is (tone, visuals, positioning)
- Brand DNA review — confirm what Glowtify inferred
- Business challenge — the goal you're chasing right now
- Channels — which channels you use
- Key moments — upcoming dates that matter
- Review campaigns — the campaign plans Glowtify proposes based on everything above
After review-campaigns, you finish with Complete account — final account setup (password, billing if applicable).
Why each step exists
Each step populates one slice of Glowtify's knowledge about you:
- Brand DNA → feeds the Business DNA layer
- Business challenge → anchors your Marketing Strategy
- Channels → sets which connectors Glowtify prioritizes
- Key moments → drives the calendar and campaign suggestions
- Review campaigns → the output: ready-to-run campaign plans
You can update any of this later — see the individual articles for each layer.
What if I skip steps?
Skipped steps leave Glowtify with less context. You'll still be able to use the app, but:
- Content generations may be less aligned to your brand (skip Brand DNA)
- The dashboard won't highlight upcoming opportunities (skip Key moments)
- Channel suggestions will be generic (skip Channels)
We recommend doing all six — it pays dividends.
After onboarding
Once onboarding is done, you land on the Dashboard. From there you can:
- Connect your first channels via Connectors
- Create your first epic via Edit an Epic
- Review and edit what onboarding set up in Business DNA and Marketing Strategy
