Canva

The Canva connector lets Glowtify import designs from your Canva account into the Images library, so you can use Canva-built visuals directly in your epics without manually exporting and uploading.

Prerequisites

  • A Canva account (free or Pro)
  • Your designs should already exist in Canva β€” Glowtify doesn't create Canva designs, only imports them

Connecting Canva

  1. On the Connectors page, click Connect Canva
  2. Log in with your Canva account
  3. Authorize Glowtify to access your designs
  4. You're returned to Glowtify with the connection confirmed

What gets imported

  • Your Canva designs β€” the ones you've created in your Canva account, in the formats Glowtify supports (PNG, JPG)
  • Brand kit assets β€” colors, logos, fonts if you have a Canva Pro brand kit (optional sync)

We don't pull Canva's template gallery or other users' designs β€” only what's in your account.

Using Canva assets in an epic

From inside an epic's image picker, switch to the Canva tab. Browse your designs, pick one, it's attached to the epic.

If you edit a design in Canva after importing it, the updated version is pulled on the next sync.

Sync frequency

Glowtify syncs your Canva designs every few hours. You can trigger a manual refresh from the Canva connector card.

Common issues

"Design not found"

The design was deleted in Canva, or access was revoked. Remove the reference in the Glowtify image picker and pick a different one.

"Format not supported"

Glowtify imports PNG and JPG. If your Canva design uses an unsupported format (PDF, SVG without raster fallback), it won't import. Change the export format in Canva.

Disconnecting

From the Canva connector card β†’ menu β†’ Disconnect. Imported designs already in your Images library stay β€” disconnect only stops future imports.
