Notifications
Notifications are how Glowtify keeps you in the loop without you having to check constantly. This article covers what you get notified about, where, and how to tune the noise down.
What triggers a notificationβ
- A publication fails (soft scheduling errors)
- A connector token is about to expire
- You're mentioned in a comment on an epic
- An epic is waiting for your approval
- An epic you're following is published
- A teammate joins the store
- Your billing has an issue (failed payment, upcoming renewal)
- Major platform events (Meta policy changes that affect your account, etc.)
Where notifications appearβ
In-appβ
The bell icon in the top nav. All notifications live there, newest first. Click any notification to jump to the related item.
Emailβ
Email notifications for the things you explicitly asked to be emailed about. See the preferences below.
Slackβ
If your store has Slack connected for notifications, items get cross-posted to the configured Slack channel.
Tuning your preferencesβ
In Account settings β Notifications, toggle each type for each channel. For example:
- Publication failures: in-app ON, email ON, Slack ON
- Epic approvals waiting: in-app ON, email OFF, Slack ON
- Teammate joined: in-app ON, email OFF, Slack OFF
The notifications pageβ
/notifications shows the full history (beyond the bell's recent dropdown), with filters by type, store, and date.
Marking as readβ
- Click a notification to mark it as read and jump to the item
- Use Mark all as read to clear the bell indicator quickly
- Archive individual notifications if you want them out of the list without dismissing them globally
