Request a Moment from a teammate
You're building content and you know exactly what visual you'd need β but you don't have it. Someone else on the team does, or will. Instead of chasing them by text, request the Moment from inside Glowtify. The teammate gets a targeted notification, captures the Moment on their phone, and it comes back attached to the right campaign or task.
Where to request fromβ
Three entry points, all opening the same dialog:
- Moments page header β Request a moment β orphan request, not tied to a specific campaign or content
- Campaign editor β Moments power-up β Request a Moment β auto-attaches to that campaign on return
- Content task editor β Moments power-up β Request a Moment β auto-attaches to that specific piece of content
The sharpest option is the third one when you know the exact post the Moment is for.
The request dialogβ
- Who should capture it β pick a teammate with access to this Workspace
- What should they capture β a short, specific description ("A photo of the booth with people at 2 PM" beats "tradeshow stuff"). Max 2000 characters. This description grounds the AI's follow-up questions in the teammate's capture chat.
- Send by a specific date (optional) β the teammate is nudged just before the date. If off, the request stays open until captured.
Hit Send request.
What happens nextβ
The teammate gets an in-app bell, a mobile push, and an email. Tapping any of them opens the request in their mobile capture chat, with the description already loaded.
They capture the Moment the same way as any other (see Create a Moment). When they save it:
- The status flips from Requested to Pending (or Used if they immediately generated content with it)
- The Moment is auto-attached to the campaign or task you requested it from
- You get a "your requested Moment is ready" notification
If you had a specific piece of content in mind, open it β the Moment is already in the power-up panel.
Requests that stay openβ
If the teammate never captures the requested Moment, the request stays in Requested status. You can cancel it from the Moments list (three-dot menu on the row) and re-request it from someone else. Filter the list by Assignee to see everyone's open asks.
