Edit an email
Email epics have their own editor geared around the specifics of email — subject line, preheader, sender identity, list targeting, render previews across email clients. And most importantly, the publication flow uses real scheduling: Glowtify hands the campaign to your email platform (Mailchimp, Klaviyo, or CyberImpact) which handles the send itself.
See Edit an Epic for the generic layout, brief, tasks, and chat flow.
What's unique to emails
- Subject line — the single most important field for open rates, with character counter and AI-suggested variants
- Preheader — the text shown in the inbox preview after the subject
- Sender name and from email — must be a verified domain
- Reply-to email — where replies land
- Audience / list selector — pick the list or segment to send to
- Email-safe content — the editor constrains formatting to what's reliable across email clients
Previewing
Email rendering is notoriously inconsistent across clients. Glowtify shows:
- Desktop preview (Gmail, Outlook, Apple Mail)
- Mobile preview (iPhone Mail, Gmail app)
- Dark mode preview — critical because many templates break in dark mode
Platform-specific publication
The publish flow differs by email platform because you're handing the campaign to that platform:
Mailchimp
- Campaign is created inside Mailchimp with your audience and subject
- Schedule datetime is passed through — Mailchimp does the actual send
- The campaign is visible and editable in your Mailchimp dashboard
- Canceling a scheduled send is done from Glowtify (calls Mailchimp's unschedule endpoint)
Klaviyo
- Glowtify creates a campaign with
send_strategy: staticand the chosen datetime - Klaviyo handles the actual send
- The campaign is visible and editable in your Klaviyo dashboard
- Canceling is done from Glowtify (calls Klaviyo's cancel endpoint)
CyberImpact
- Glowtify pushes the mailing with
sendAt+ timezone - CyberImpact handles the send in French or English based on the language selector
- Canceling is done from Glowtify (calls CyberImpact's cancel endpoint)
Because email uses real scheduling, once the campaign is handed to your email platform, it will send even if your Glowtify subscription lapses. This is different from social, where a lapse stops scheduled posts from going out. See Smart Scheduling.
Common tweaks via the chat
Examples of what users typically ask the AI chat for inside an email epic:
- "Shorten the subject line to under 50 characters"
- "Make the preheader a question"
- "Rewrite the opening to feel less corporate"
- "Add a P.S. at the end with a sense of urgency"
- "Restructure so the CTA is halfway down, not at the bottom"
